Withdrawal Policy I understand that if my child and/or I desire to discontinue class/classes during a session at Main Street Arts, I must obtain a withdrawal request form. This form must be dated at the time of the request and must be given to my instructor on or before the 15th day of the month prior to the month classes are to be dropped. If notification is not received by the 15th day of the month prior to drop date, I understand that I am responsible for that month’s payment even though classes are not attended. Gallery Area/Pick-up - The Gallery area is not a play area, please instruct your children to wait quietly. Children should not be dropped off earlier than 10 min. before their class starts and should be picked up immediately after their class ends. All students must enter and exit through the back entrance after 5:30pm. Children are not allowed, for any reason, to wait outside. Attendance - Absences are discouraged. Make-up classes will not be scheduled for individual absences. Closures for Main Street Arts are built into our calendar, if we cancel a class(example weather, sickness etc.) you will be notified of that make-up date. Payment Procedures & Fees - Monthly tuition for weekly classes are due at the first of each month, 1 hr. classes $45, 1.5 hr. classes $60, 2 hr classes $70 and pottery $95. A supply fee of $40 per semester is charged for all children/youth fine art classes, this fee provides art supplies used in class. Adult/youth pottery class tuition includes all materials and firings, however, adult visual arts supplies are the responsibility of individual students. A family discount of $5 is applied for more than one art student per immediate family. Tuition must be paid for a complete month at a time, refer to our attendance policy. Supply and studio fees are not refundable. Discipline Policy – Our time with your child is valuable and should not be spent reprimanding anyone. We will remind the student of appropriate behavior one time, after that, parents will be called to take them home. Cell phones are not allowed in any youth class. Adults should use common courtesy and always turn your cell phones on silent. For More Information Contact: |
